Long casts on a windy day around rock have been enticing smallmouth lately. With tulibee as forage, this color of jerkbait really matches the hatch. Bass are likely a mix of spawners and pre spawn at this water temp and given how this year has progressed with late ice off.

Found some brush piles and fished the whopper plopper over them by casting past them towards the bank and retrieving just fast enough so the plopping noise starts. Picked the rest off with a Texas rigged craw
