Fish still hanging around the bait. Find the bait, find the fish. Used various shad immitations primarily trolling. Used Bomber Fat Free shad catch this one. Others caught using dipsey diver to get down to depth. Fish have to eat.. don't let the cold water scare you off.

Covered a ton of water looking for fish. Everything was spread out and trolling seemed like a good option as the water had cooled of quite a bit in the last week. Didn't get a single bite from 7Am until about 3 PM, then I was able to get 3 whites in the 1-4 pound family on a Bone colored Flicker Shad (shown)

Trolling Flicker shads seem to work well on this body of water for various species mimmicing shad. Was rewarded with a nice 15" crappie today. Only a handful of people willing to fair the 45deg morning weather.

Water is down about 5 feet from normal pool, with rain in the forecast, thought I would see if the fish were heading toward the sources of water. Didn't have much luck on walleye but caught a couple white bass, a crappie and a catfish. Oh Well. That's fishing

Trolled up a few small walleye in the relative shallows of the windblown bays and points. Rapala shallow shad pattern and a spinner, crawler lindy setup did the trick. Most fish caught at the point transitions. Saw many boats out at the mid lake humps but not a single angler indicated walleye caught out there. Must be willing to change.

Colder temps have shad pushed shallower and turnover has fish scattered somewhat. I expected them to be off main points but ended up trolling with little success. Caught a couple small ones early AM but otherwise a tough day
