Jigs and Texas rigs around inside weed edges was the deal for 18lbs and solid top 3 finish. Wanted the shallow bite to work, but the numbers and size were already on weedlines. Bluegill beds were a bonus when you found them on 360 on weed edges

Windy and cold! Lake was behind as far as weed growth and the fish were in the spawn funk. Caught a bunch of dinks and a few 15 inchers

Burning a blade over rock bars turned our best fish. Needed to trigger a reaction bite in the afternoon. The higher the sun was the better the bite got. Saw plenty of fish but most were negative even when pitching smaller baits at them.

With a 1/8oz NED head, Working the 6-10 depths where the aquatic vegetation separates the rocky flats from the drop offs. Some fish were on the shallow side, some were on the deep side. Tried cranks, CB’s, and others, they only wanted the NED worm with a dark top and light belly.
