Water levels are low, so be careful, but top water action on superb smallmouth and largemouth this week...several fish over 4 targeting shallow weed flats with scattered rocks with Berkley Choppos (105, 90 and new 75s) over grass in 2 to 8 feet. Bone was hot.

Targeting points in that 8-14 foot range just strolling a soft plastic minnow, they seemed to prefer a steady straight retrieve! Where we found one smallie we found many more!

South end of the lake in the grass channels in 6-8’ of water is drilling Largemouth, Smallmouth, and Northern Pike on Bluegill colored crank baits.
