Overcast to partly sunny. water was mid 70's and pretty clear. We ended up in 4th place for the day with 15lbs. All our fish came on baits above, jerkbaits outside edge of grass in deeper water seemed to be the deal. Lost several that would have put us real close to 1st place weight of 17.5 lbs.

Fished tourney on Clear Fork yesterday in tough conditions. Cold front came through after several warm days and lots of rain. Air temp 35 at take off. Upper end of lake very brown, few inches vis, lower end stained 1-2' vis. Caught all our fish on the jerkbait mentioned. Shallow 5' or less on wood. 6 bites all day, we caught em all, culled once. Had 5 for 12.2lbs, good enough for 4th place. First had 18 something with big fish for the day with a 6.25.

It was a brutal day, most of the fish that I marked was all on humps that were in 8-12 ft of water. I fished every hump on that lake that was deeper than 4 ft, but I couldn’t get anything to take the bait.
