Omnia doesn't offer the exact buzzbait from Greenfish, so I couldn't add it. However, a toad toting style buzzbait and covering a lot of water helped put 16 pounds of largemouth in the boat. We had a lot of wind and overcast that day, and it helped generate a great bite.

The bit was tough with not much wind and clear skies, but burning a 3/4 oz spinner bait over brush was generating a reaction strike. It helped me catch my PB spotted bass a 4.12 pounds. Added a trailer hook for those short striking, and it paid off.

The lake is about 6 feet low and has almost finished turning over. There’s bait fish everywhere in the creeks, and the bite is tough there. Bites are still coming pretty easy on brush piles on the main lake.

There’s still a lot of fish on brush and they are biting really good once the sun gets up. I caught a few suspended, but my better quality and quantity came on the jig in about 20 feet of water.

You can still find some schooling fish, but the quality seems to be smaller. The bigger bites for me came out of brush 15-20 feet of water. There was a storm that rolled through early that morning, but cleared up the skies with winds out of the west that were 8-15 mph.

We recently placed 2nd in the Clarks Hill Classic throwing a mixture of spinnerbaits and chatter baits on submerged rocks and muddy water points. Early in the morning we targeted rocks located in slightly warmer water with spinnerbaits and chatter baits. These rocks hold heat throughout the night from the sun the day before. This can often produce some good bites early in the morning when water is typically in the lower 50's. Once the water temp began to rise, we transitioned to points where the wind and waves had created a few feet of muddy water along the bank. We were able to catch numerous three pound + fish out of these mud lines. This tactic also produced our biggest bass of the day which weighed in at 5.1lb.
