Slow day it was a grind for bites. Ended up with a decent pile after I found a productive stretch of docks. The fish seemed turned off. They started to feed early afternoon off of the docks.

Excellent day on the Pond. A handful of good quality fish but a good overall mix. Logs, lay downs, and docks were the most successful. I think once again the fish were feeding mainly on craws. But a good mix of bluegills also.

Back to back days of good fishing. Overall size was smaller today. Fish were a little less active and had to really find a bait they wanted. Docks were most productive with an occasional one in the pads or deeper weeds. A jig and rage bug were most effective. The fish are supper fat and healthy on the pond right now. I believe most fish shallow are feeding on crawfish.

Small Wisconsin Derby. The fish were everywhere and there were many ways to catch them. Most of my success came flipping this craw into boat lifts. I think the flutter of the legs along with the color made it an appealing bait, imitating bluegills and craws when on the bottom.
