The moving bait bite is still going strong! Toss a 1/2 oz spinnerbait around weed flats in the 6 to 10 foot range. Both Largemouth and Pike are chasing bluegills in these areas. Bluegill and red colors were the ticket.

Casted into weeds a little bit. I would rip the bait off of the weeds and they would crush it. I tried multiple baits and they’d only hit the Ned.

Bass were pushed up pretty shallow chasing small minnows and bluegill. Work a bladed jig, swimbait or swim jig slowly through the weed cover.
