Look for sharp drops close to flats.If there’s weed with rock ,gravel sand , focus on that for location . Throw in to open pockets of weeds in rock or sand ,let you bait sit keeping contact with the bottom, have fun ,good fishing.

Swimming a Outkasttackle hair jig in the 6-12 deep range at a slower speed, worked awesome. With the wind at my back ,helped the jig fly farther away. Give it a try, have fun and be safe on the water

Water level is still high and fish are holding on current brakes along the Dam .Sides scan or us your 2D to look for a 2 to 3 foot drop . Great place to take kids to catch lots of smallmouth or a bonus Walleye or 2 . Make long cast with a gentle drag or popping your bait . I use the 1/16 oz football jig head from VMC and the XZone Ned zone in 3in summer craw. Good luck , have fun and be safe on the water.

water levels are low so fish moved to deeper 12ft-16ft structure ,rocks, weeds, drag your bait on the rocks , smallmouth bite better with wind , largemouth are tight to cover .

Look for sharp drops with smallmouth Bass just off the ledges suspended in 6-8 ft of water on calm days . When the wind picks up the Bass will move on top of the Ledes with Grass and Rock in the area .
