Spent a short time in the morning running along weed lines. Pattern was very repeatable. Caught 5 (16-19”) in a 100yard stretch. White and Chartreuse just castes into the weeds and pulled through and out at a moderate to fast speed. I’d recommend a 7:3:1 gear ratio reel. Think this could be repeated any wisconsin Lake in early fall with submerged healthy weeds.

Fish were finicky today compared to other days I’ve been out in Big Cedar recently. Normally there’s been a good too water bite first thing in the morning but it was non-existent. I was able to boat a lot of bass, albeit some smaller fish, on the flatworm on a dropshot technique working open spots on points and humps in 7-10’ of water. Also hit some on weed edges on a Texas rigged cover scat.
