Water temps are 60 and the females have moved shallow. Covering water with a spinnerbait, chatterbait, squarebill or swimjig will get bites. Also, pitching soft plastics and jigs around grass and hard cover is a good option.

Fished in a Kayak tournament here at Cedar. The winds were sustained between 20-25mph and gusts going from 30-35 mph. I caught my first fish around 7:20am near flooded brush and laydowns on the Cumberland Procaster jig in naked craw with a green pumpkin Zoom speed craw as the trailer. I caught my 2nd fish on a secondary point with laydowns on a green pumpkin Adrenline tackle 3/8oz swim jig and same trailer. I T-rigged a Alabama craw 4" bandito bug on a and caught another in the same type of structure/cover. Water temps ranged from 50 to 52 degrees and I stayed in the south end of the lake. As the day went on it warmed up nice and other anglers were really catching them in the last hour of the tournament.

we used a 2 prong plan of attack and both patterns were successful catching nice fish and quantity. our main objective was too drag jigs through brushpiles which was highly effective and between piles we worked the bank with flatsided crank baits picking up a few more bites along the way. the warm nights have the bass biting good
