we used a 2 prong plan of attack and both patterns were successful catching nice fish and quantity. our main objective was too drag jigs through brushpiles which was highly effective and between piles we worked the bank with flatsided crank baits picking up a few more bites along the way. the warm nights have the bass biting good

The frog and toad bite is still going on. Covering water is key. Find the mats with popping bait fish. Work the mats slow. As long as water temps stay in the 50 degree range and bait stays in the grass this bite will continue.
