Bait was in the middle column of water (10-12ft) when bitten. Cast real far, let sink, lift up 6 inches and start swimming it. It was the first cast of a solid day on the lake. They fight really hard here. 3lb’s

Found near boulders and submerged logs. 12 inch leader with a 3/16 tear drop weight. Found in 10-12 ft depth. My preferred method is to shake the worm 3-4 times before pulling it off the surface about 3-6 inches. They almost always eat it on the fall or on a long pause after the fall. Always a great fight on spinning gear. 3lbs 5oz

2 feet leader to hover just above grass and boulder transition. They loved the brown back and smelt colors. One of the biggest on the trips. 3/16 oz tungsten or 1/4oz will do the trick in all scenarios.
