Cruising are the drop off of main lake point. 65lb braid main line with 20lb fluro leader, I use spools to cut on cost. Caught her cruising at 30ft on live scope, casted in front of her and she picked it up on the drop.

Smallmouth were setting up outside of a laydown in about 27-30ft of water. Caught three perch in the lay down before targeting the Smallies. Needed less action, dead stick and a slow drift worked the best.

Tough day, but got a few. Jackhammer along outside weed lines in 10-13 FOW. Lake level was down 5-6 feet so there was no inside weed edge. Water temp about 60 degrees. Caught a few pickerel on a drop shot too.

Fishing parallel to weed lines in 5-10 feet of water. Slow retrieve bumping bottom on occasion. Stop and go retrieve also worked.

Throwing over submerged vegetation in 3-6 feet of water. Walk for several feet, pause. Typically they were hitting on the pause. North end of the lake, about 300 yards up from the boat launch.

Found out exactly where & how all the ledges & or or debris in the water are at. Then worked the Crank Baits about 5'-8' over the ledges or drop offs & with a medium to fast action Reeling it across & then allowing it to Fall Down Off the Ledge 1' up to several feet depending on how much of a drop off there is. You wanna let the big Slobs That Are Laying Up Under Those Ledges Just behind The Weed Line. Waiting For Something To Enter It's Striking Zone & #BAM #Strike1,2&3 all at once. Learn the waters bottoms & drop off points. '-8'

Worked it along an outside weed line off of a drop off. I usually let the bait sink for 5 seconds on the first cast then twitch it 2 to 3 times then pause for 1 second. She picked it up on the third pause.
