Cruising are the drop off of main lake point. 65lb braid main line with 20lb fluro leader, I use spools to cut on cost. Caught her cruising at 30ft on live scope, casted in front of her and she picked it up on the drop.

Worked it along an outside weed line off of a drop off. I usually let the bait sink for 5 seconds on the first cast then twitch it 2 to 3 times then pause for 1 second. She picked it up on the third pause.

South end was flooded way back up into the timber, flipped cat tails that lay just outside the timber. Caught her around 1:00, definitely sought after shade of the cat tails since the vegetation of the main flat hadn't come in yet. She picked it up on the fall and needed that 65lb braid to get her over a log and out of the tails.

Slow rolling over and around submerged lay downs. Really like the action of the Mayor swim bait, it has a nice body roll and more subtle tail waggle on retrieve.

Bass were on bottom in 17 to 20 feet right on the edge of submerged veg. Working a Texas rig fast was the ticket. Caught a ton of large mouth, and a few pickerel.

Tough day, but got a few. Jackhammer along outside weed lines in 10-13 FOW. Lake level was down 5-6 feet so there was no inside weed edge. Water temp about 60 degrees. Caught a few pickerel on a drop shot too.
