This was our first time trolling for Crappie and it seemed to work the best. The fish did not appear in large schools, so covering water was key. The Shad Raps worked consistently, but we caught several on curly tail grubs as well. The most important factor was getting down to them. They were still down around 20ft. and we were moving about 1 to 1.2 mph. However, we did find just a few starting to come up to shallow shorelines. They averaged around 13 inches and right around 1 pound.

Fun evening catching bass in the Snake River. This was actually a spot along the Snake River near Celebration Park, not C J Strike. The small bass(10-12 inches) loved this Red Tiger Crankbait. Never found the bigger ones, but this area is not known for monster smallies.

Tough night fighting wind, but found several small fish. Once the wind calmed down at dusk, I had success with ned rigs deep, deep crankbaits and shallow crankbaits.
