3 hour afternoon trip. Biggest 5.1lb. Way shallow spawning. Tail was beat up and bloody.

I would fish the Dawg around schools of bait and eventually a fish would commit. Then I would target areas that were potential ambush points with cover with the rage craw.

The fish were sitting in 8-12ft of water, and they would only bit the strike king finesse football jig in a 1/4. We tried several other jigs that were a little larger, but with all the pressure on the lake at this time, the finesse techniques were the only ones to land the fish in the boat! Caught several bass that weighed in between 3-3.5 LBs
