The bass were hitting up close to the shore on black buzzbaits and shad colored swim jigs in protected coves on the main lake. I also noticed that most of my bites came in the afternoon.

Throwing a swim jig around submerged vegetation just starting to grow. Fish have spawned and most have traveled back out to deeper water.

The bass at Blue Marsh have been hitting a dropshot rigged with a 2.8" Keitech. All of the bass have come from offshore brush piles and structure in the main lake that we found using Active Target.
