Fish around Lily Pads and matted grass. 1/0 gamagatsu worm hook with 7 inch black grape worm. Rig trick worm style with a nail inserted into worm for a little weight.

I fished a kayak bass tournament on Big Lake. The lake is surrounded by docks and has a great amount of vegetation and pads in the northwest end. I had some initial success with texas rigged worms along the pads until some river otters showed up. Later in the day was able to find bass using weedless wacky rigs on the edges of submerged vegetation, docks and brush piles.
