Pre-spawn smallmouth were hanging around some of the sand flat spawning zones. The bigget fish seemed to be schooling up in 8-20 foot off the edges of the flats. I was targeting them with Sakamata shads and active target 2 FFS on the X10 Medusa. Fish could also be caught fan casting the shallow sand with 3.3" Keitechs (golby color) on a 1/8oz head.
