Fishing from the bank using a 3.8 black/blue flake Bullflat on a weightless Texas rig on Alum creek. Caught 2 nice bass shaking it while reeling in. Used suffix 832 10 lb. Braid to 10 lb. Sniper fluoro. First action of the year with the weather warming up.

Baitfish
Found some smallies out off main lake points in-between 20-25 feet. Bait was packed so thick my blade would come back with shad hooked quite often. Find the bait and find the fish. Quick pops off the bottom with a 1/2 blade bait was the ticket. Even caught a few yellow perch.

Actually was looking to see if the smallmouth pulled out a little deeper but found an awesome crappie pattern. The middle and south pool had them stacked thick on those secondary points in the fingers. That first big depth change in about the 15ft range. Caught vertically jigging a rapala ice jig in shad patrerns.
