Picked up 5 bass over 4lbs including one over 7lbs on the kicker double colorado spinnerbait. Water visiblity was about one inch and this brought on the strikes. Fishing in the wind blown coves around any blown down brush or trees held bass. Slow rolling was the key to getting a strike with love visiblity. Kept those blades thumpin and pulled some nice ones in the boat.

Good day on Abel Lake, Bass were holding on laydown trees in 7-9 foot of water. Good South West wind allowed for slow rolling a spinnerbait around the trees and logs to pick up bass. Largest bass 4.87 10 total caught in 2 hours and 45 minutes.

Fished before major front moved through caught several bass in the 5-7 foot range on the Berkley Stunna Jerk Bait. The bite was slow fished for three hours @2.5 fish per hour. Wind was West, South West which is the best wind to fish Abel Lake. Combination of multiple fronts in a few days bad moon phase led to smaller fish. No signs of moving up for spawn.

Fish were moving up for the spawn they were slamming the Double Colorado Nichols Rado spinnerbait thrown right on the bank. Water was very stained so the coleslaw color with the big Colorado blade was very effective.

Few hours out on the lake, in a bit of rain of a rain storm but was able to catch several 2 to 3 lb bass off secondary points at 8-10 feet on Keitech easy shiner in bluegill flash. They were definitely post spawn bass thin and tails were still in bad shape.
